COLLECTION

The Simose collection has been assembled over more than half a century, beginning with artworks and items collected by the co-founders of Marui Sangyo Corporation, and continued by their daughter and current company president Yumiko Shimose. The collection contains approximately 500 items ranging from hina dolls, doll accessories, and gosho dolls collected as wishes for children's growth a peaceful world, as well as modern paintings from Japan and the West, and Western crafts.
