The Simose Art Museum takes the following precautions to protect personal information such as your name, telephone number, and e-mail address.

1. The Museum complies with all laws, regulations, and other rules concerning personal information, and will do its utmost to protect important personal information.

2. The Museum will handle personal information appropriately within the scope of the following purposes.
—To confirm your identity, to notify you of suspension or discontinuation of services, and for other reasons pertaining to our services.
—To provide information on services of the Museum or its business partners by e-mail, to recommend sales, to conduct surveys, and to send or provide gifts, etc.
—To aggregate, analyze, and process personal information into forms in which individual are unidentifiable, for the purpose of using or providing such information to our business partners, etc.
—To improve our services or develop new services.
—To respond to inquiries and consultations.
The above purposes of use may be stipulated in some cases. In addition, when interacting with customers by telephone, conversations may be recorded in order to accurately grasp opinions and requests, etc. and to improve our services in the future.

3. In order to ensure the proper handling of customers’ personal information, the Museum will endeavor to protect personal information by establishing regulations and management systems, educating employees, and taking appropriate measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information or the loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information. We will continually review these measures to ensure the protection of personal information.

4. In order to achieve the above purposes of use, the Museum may entrust the personal information of customers to subcontractors or business partners. In such cases, the Museum will take necessary and appropriate measures such as concluding a contract for the protection of personal information. In the event that a request for disclosure is made by a court in accordance with the law, the information may be provided to the relevant public institutions.
