GROUP VISITS

About Reservations

-Please e-mail the museum to apply for a group visit.
-Reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If another group has already applied for your desired date and time, we may ask you to request a different date or time.
-Reservations are not confirmed until a response is received from the museum.

About Group Rates

-Group rates cannot be used together with other discounts.
-The group rate is applied to groups of at least 20 paying visitors.
-High school or university students or disabled persons in your group must show ID or present a certificate.
However, if the group representative confirms in advance and sends or brings a list of visitors on the day of the visit, presentation of ID is not required.

Support Programs

The museum curators are available to provide the following two types of commentary. *In Japanese only.

Museum Guidance Introduction to the museum and exhibitions, held in the Entrance Hall. Groups of 30 or more will be divided into two sections. 10 min. Free
Gallery Talk Explanation of works and exhibition themes in the Exhibition Hall. Groups of 25 or more will be divided into two sections. 30 min. ¥2,000/group

Gallery talks are not offered during museum events or exhibition changes.

Bus Parking

-Two bus parking spaces are available.

Other

-Please contact the museum at least one day prior to the scheduled date of your visit (excluding days the museum is closed) if you wish to change or cancel your reservation.
-Please make sure the group is aware of and observes the “Requests to Visitors.”
-Please note that applications for group visits are made to facilitate smooth visits and alleviate crowding, but do not guarantee priority admission to the museum. Even with an application in advance, groups may be asked to wait if the museum is crowded.
